Before pursuing jewelry design, Marco Panconesi had his heart set on a career in archaeology. Now, with Panconesi, the designer brings an archaeological mindset — a natural curiosity and reverence for human history — to the realm of jewelry. Positioned at the nexus of art, adornment, and artefact, the Parisian label seeks to create a novel language for jewelry. Each Panconesi piece is part sculpture, part talisman, part play–thing. The label reimagines the relationship between jewelry and the wearer: its kinetic, pose–able pieces morph alongside the individual’s daily movements, casting personal narratives in precious metal and gemstone embellishment.
