Before becoming a jeweller, Marco Panconesi dreamed of a career in archaeology. Still inspired by those formative ambitions, the designer creates modern fossil-like jewels from precious metal and stone. These Lava Hoop Earrings, which drip with molten enamel, evoke the primordial rock from which all things — artefacts or gemstones — are excavated.
