Like its seafaring subjects, SERAPIS charts the undulations of Greece's maritime industry. This Greek cotton bathmat's hand-rendered pattern derives from one of these many explorations: a sketch of a shoreline drawn from an on-deck drawing program participated by crew members aboard a tanker ship.
