Is there beauty in an unmade bed? Can a milk jug make for a charming vase? Questions like these inform completedworks' 'Fold' collection, which draws inspiration from the contours of lesser dignified household objects: folded dishcloths, rumpled laundry, and crushed bottles. Eschewing the rules of traditional ceramics, the Wake Vessel alludes, instead, to the crumpled shapes of our most–used possessions.
