Based in one of antiquity’s most storied cities, Athens label Vasiliki is deeply embedded in the human tradition as it’s unfolded across millennia. Handcrafted by Kiki Karayiannis using the ancient process of molten wax casting, Vasiliki’s unisex jewels are infused with humanity and bear the traces of their maker: fingerprints and small imperfections. The communal act of story–telling informs Kiki’s practice, with every jewel a reference to seminal narratives spanning Greek mythology to sci–fi. Like the hands that formed them—and the bodies that will bear them—each Vasiliki piece is one–of–a–kind, offered in limited batches that foreground both environmental and social sustainability.
